This is the final of the "2013 World Championship Doubles Consultation" which was played in Monaco. Kostas Mitrelis and Haris Christidis constituted the greek national team and played the black checkers, where Michi and Tanaka from Japan played the white. As you will see both teams played an excellent match leaving minimal space for comments.

To my knowledge, this has the lowest, by far, cummulative PR (1,41 and 1,11) in a final match of a recognized backgammon tournament. What is even more impressive is that this match was clocked and was played at 4 o'clock in the morning after many other long matches. Despite those constraints and the fact that there was a big turnaround in the second game, the greek players were not affected and proved that the greek backgammon has considerable developed those last years. Haris and Kostas possible constitute the strongest greek backgammon pair, with their main strength comming from their excellent cooperation.
